CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

The chemical sector has long been under the watchful eye of antimonopoly authorities. Over the last ten years the European Commission has found over 20 agreements in the chemical sector to be anticompetitive.

Our lawyers have advised on a number of chemical sector projects covering a range of issues, including merger control, implementation of distribution schemes, verifying competition compliance of existing distribution schemes and anticompetitive agreements. We are currently advising a number of chemical companies on ongoing business matters that may trigger antitrust risk.
